This week I made the trek to Albany, NY for work. I’ll be here for two weeks in a row, and I was here two weeks last year, so I figured it was time to try something new. Some Googling and a 15-minute drive later, I ended up in Troy, NY for the highly recommended Plum Blossom Chinese Restaurant. Table for one, please!
yays: the building was b-e-a-u-tiful! They had this gorgeous woodwork throughout the entirety of the restaurant that was absolutely stunning. I would go again just to look at the building.
They brought tea and those fried stick things to the table fo free! (What are those fried stick things, anyways?)
Really interesting food on the menu including the Taro Root & Jumbo Shrimp Fried Rice I got.
nays: tea was meh.
Service was subpar at best.
Sweet & sour sauce was a 5/10.
What’s y’alls favorite Chinese restaurant?
