{Brunch}

One thing I love about Texas despite the horrible summer heat?  Tex Mex, y’all!

Yesterday morning the hubs had to work, so it seemed perfectly logical to turn Saturday into a girl date brunch!  My sweet friend Mandie had been telling me about {Fernando’s} for months, but I hadn’t had the chance to go.  [insert blog-worthy deliciousness here!]

yays: $6 bottomless mimosas, screwdrivers, margs, frozen blueberry mojitos (and a couple other adult beverage treats).  These aren’t fluffy “brunch” drinks either!  They’re delicious, have more than a fair share of the good stuff, and you’re allowed to switch out any of the drinks on the bottomless menu as you choose!
Brunch doesn’t start until 10:30am, so you don’t have to get up early.
It seems to be a little known Dallas treat, so the restaurant wasn’t even full when we left several hours later.
The food is stellar!
Girls’ dates are just the best.

nays: This little gem is HARD to find.  Take a right on Midway and keep driving back, it’ll be on your right behind the Albertson’s.  Don’t let GPS keep you away!
